What’s a clown to do? The banks and creditors have me jumping through hoops and hurdles on this crazy merry-go-round called sole trading. Kids and drunks; that’s what puts food on the table. Kids have their charms but drunks pay better. Festivals are fun and well paid when the work comes in; but it’s a long time between gigs. A run of country towns would take me places. Something to consider when the dragonflies bring in the cool dry weather. There’s a serious side to the clown; it’s not so different from a lawnmower round or a TV antenna business. Put out a line and see if I get a bite, have balls will travel, this clown’s is for hire.
