Girls in the time of Jesus
It often refers to Canonite women in the Bible. How do they know they are Canonite women? Because they dress like Muslim women do today – they really covered up. Jewish girls were a little more liberal and showed off a little more; but only a little more – like girls in Church do today. Then there were the Greeks and Romans, these girls dressed like girls in nightclubs do today. A lot of young Jewish girls would have been enticed by the glamour of the Greek and Roman red-light districts. Baal worship was mostly gone, but there would have been pockets and outbreaks of the cult. Especially as something to be considered at the Gentiles orgies. A lot to tempt a young Jewish boy with parents that want him to be a good Jewish boy and marry a virgin.
