It has become clear to me it is time to start putting the clown behind me. But I can get away with busking because they can’t stop me; I need the money now and it will be a long time before writing and painting pay. I learned early in my clown carear that there are two main clients for my work: kids and drunks. And while kids have their charms drunks pay better. As it is I’m getting old now and this can make for a scary clown for the kids. I’m still good with the drunks although the girls don’t flurt with me any more, guess I’m not as sexy as I was.
